Bamsoet Supports First Asia Cargo Airlines Flight In Kertajati by Rakyat Merdeka

Chairman of the MPR Bambang Soesatyo supports the performance of Asia Cargo Airlines and Black Stone Cargo Airline which have made the inaugural cargo flight from West Java International Airport (BIJB) Kertajati, Majalengka, West Java to Sultan Syarif Kasim II International Airport, in Pekanbaru.

[Rakyat Merdeka] – This is the first cargo flight at Kertajati Airport after ‘falling asleep’ without any flight activity for approximately two years.

This inaugural cargo flight carries an estimated general cargo of PT JNE weighing 12 tons. This is the first step in realizing BIJB Kertajati’s mission as a cargo village ( cargo villages ), warehousing, aircraft maintenance workshop, and e-commerce that can provide a large multiplier effect for the West Java economy.

“Not only using airplanes, in the future Asia Cargo Airlines together with Black Stone Group have also prepared cargo flights using drone air transport without a pilot eHang 216, which was inaugurated for its flight test in Bali on November 26, 2021. The initial route opened from the JNE head office in the Tomang Raya area, Jakarta to BIJB Kertajati, to then be distributed in the area around West Java or flown back to various other areas using Asia Cargo Airlines aircraft,” said Bamsoet , Bambang’s nickname, after releasing the inaugural cargo flight of Asia Cargo Airlines, in Kertajati.
